Known Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub App Catalog Gaps with using Horizon Cloud Service - next-gen (92495)

  • Purpose and Impact:

Customers who use or plan to migrate to Horizon Cloud Service – next-gen should be aware of the following gaps in the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub App Catalog with Horizon app and desktop entitlements.

With Horizon Cloud Service – next-gen, admins will not have the ability to:

    • Promote Horizon apps and desktops in the App Catalog from the Hub Services console
    • Download the App Rating Statistics report from Hub Services console

If admins have conditional access policies configured in Workspace One Access, those conditional access policies will not be enforced when end-users launch Horizon entitlements from the App Catalog.

APNs for Application certificate renewal for On Premise environments (50121242)

  • APNs for Application is the certificate that you are required to renew so that all enterprise applications continue to communicate with the Workspace ONE UEM Console.
  • Note this will be the last year the APNs for Application renewal script will be updated, as we'll be using the Console Notification Service (CNS) going forward. With CNS implemented, manually renewing APNs certificates via script will not be necessary. For more information on this topic, please see the following KB article Upcoming changes to APNs for Applications for On-Premises Workspace ONE UEM (91116).
