Workspace ONE UEM Modernization - Tenant ID and Customer Organization Group requirements for Smart Groups (87464)
As a continuation of the effort to modernize the Workspace ONE UEM system from an interdependent model to a microservice-based system, there are new updates coming to the Assignment Group creation workflow in the UEM Admin console.
With the implementation of the tenant level boundary using the Customer-type Organization Group (as specified in this KB), similar requirements will be placed on the creation of Assignment Groups and Smart Groups.
In the future, Assignments Groups and Smart Groups can only be created at or below your Customer-type OG.

RUGG-10555 - Relay Server Displays File Sync With A Server Is In Progress (87427)
After upgrade to Workspace ONE UEM 2111, the console displays 'file sync with a server is in progress' for the Pull Relay Server status.
Pull Relay service logs displays the following error: "EXCEPTION ***
System.Data.ConstraintException: Column 'ContentServiceItemID' is constrained to be unique."Products will remain in a queued state and are unable to be re-processed

Ubuntu LightDM Support. (87459)
Certain Ubuntu Variants install lightdm as the default display manager.
From Ubuntu 18.04 and upwards, GDM has replaced LightDM as the default display manager. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BionicBeaver/ReleaseNotes/18.04
We only provide support for GDM
When installing your ubuntu platform , if you choose a desktop environment such as mate that has lightdm as its default display manager, please ensure you adjust this
Other factors, such as Single sign-on (SSO) will have a bearing on your options - for example, KDE and the MATE Desktop Environment only works when your Linux desktop is using the GDM3 greeter (login screen).

Linux agent RPM package fails to install on some older RHEL 8 systems. (87416)
‘no digest’ error when installing Linux agent rpm on RHEL 8.0 system
On a RHEL 8.0 system, import RPM GPG key and then install rpm package, installation failed with error message similar to below:
rpm -ivh VMware-horizonagent-linux-2111-8.4.0-18798242.el8.x86_64.rpm

Run below command to update the guest OS’s rpm system to the latest.

VMware will start requiring SNI in Workspace ONE UEM Dedicated SaaS environments starting January 16th, 2022. After this date, Android devices running Intelligent Hub 9.0.0.391 or lower may no longer communicate with Workspace ONE UEM. Affected devices may have to be re-enrolled with a supported version of Intelligent Hub.
