Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 24.08 for iOS
- Legacy Catalog EOL Notice: The Legacy Catalog in UEM for SaaS UEM Customers will be EOGS on August 31, 2024 and EOL on October 31, 2024. Refer to KB article for details.
Note: Workspace ONE Access is required for migration and if not already configured in your environment, you need to configure it. If you are using the App Catalog in Intelligent Hub, then you are already migrated and no action is needed. This applies for all platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows). - Support for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18
With the addition of support for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, the new minimum supported version of Hub is iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or higher.
Workspace ONE Tunnel for macOS 24.08
- This macOS client 24.08 release introduces an update to our modern macOS Tunnel client distributed through the Workspace ONE Resources Portal.
- Support for Per-App Tunnel mode on Standalone enrolled devices.
- Select either Per-App or Full-Device DTR as part of macOS Standalone profile.
- This macOS Tunnel client distributed through the Workspace ONE Resources Portal now supports both Per-App and Full-Device Tunnel modes for MDM and Standalone enrolled devices. The macOS Tunnel client delivered through the App Store continues to support Per-App Tunnel mode on MDM enrolled devices.

Getting Ready for Apple Major OS Releases 2024
- Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 has brought a number of exciting updates and features to all major platforms. During the opening keynote, Apple announced macOS 15, iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2. In addition to showcasing many impressive consumer features, Apple announced important enhancements coming to their device management protocol as well as Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager.

What’s new for enterprise in iOS 18

App Not deploying on 23.10.x macOS Hub (96724)
- Customer is experiences issues where Proofpoint application does not install on devices that have been upgraded to 23.10.x version of the macOS hub. Application worked without issue with previous version of macOS Hub. In managedsoftwareupdate.log shows that app downloads to 97% and then shows the following error "The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. An unexpected error occurred while moving files to the final destination.)"
- August 2024: Previous versions of this article stated EOGS would be August 31, 2024 and EOL would be October 31, 2024 the article has been updated with new dates. We are also starting a new project that will automatically stand up Workspace ONE Access environments (comes with Hub Services) in the cloud for customers that do not have UEM and Hub Services integrated to facilitate a seamless transition to Hub Services enabled Catalog in Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub. - When admin releases a forensic hold on a user and after user logs from his previously held desktop, when he immediately tries to login again, he gets error for no desktop available. Even though there are other available machines in the same pool but user is not able to login due to last held machine he was using is currently in Maintenance mode. Although other machine is in available state but still user cannot launch until the previous assigned machine comes back to available state. This is happening due to user and machine assigned state save in memory cache.

This transition is part of our preparation to become a standalone entity following the pending acquisition of EUC by KKR. - End of Life Announcement for the Legacy App Catalog in Workspace ONE UEM for SaaS UEM Customers (95774)
We are announcing the End of Life (EOL) for the UEM Legacy Catalog for UEM SaaS customers only at this time. If you are a On-Premises UEM Customer, this notice does not impact you at this time, further communications will follow for timelines on migrating On-Premises UEM Customers to the Intelligent Hub App Catalog. - Workspace ONE UEM - Updated requirements for on-premise cumulative patches (94706)
The base GA version for current Workspace ONE UEM releases is being revised through updated installers. On-premise customers will need to consume a revised installer for a given major version before any future cumulative patches can be deployed for that major version. These revised installers are required to address compatibility issues with regular cumulative patches. - Introducing Workspace ONE (WS1) UEM Next-Gen SaaS
VMware is excited to announce that the resource management & tracking improvements, the first major feature-based milestone in the Workspace ONE UEM Modernization Journey, is now available for customer testing. These improvements will be enabled in limited testing environments (CN135) starting on Thursday August 24, 2023.
